The Prefecture of Limone (Efrasachin: Préfétareo du Limone) is a consolidated city-prefecture and the third most populous municipality-equivalent. Limone has been the de facto seat of government since May of 2020, with the government headquarters moving from Parsrid.

Limone was founded along with the Province of Pormalia on May 10, 2020. Limone is both the national seat of government and the capital of Pormalia. Limone is similar in geography to Parsrid, and is divided into two Corregimentos, one of which has to exclaves in the other.

History

Limone was established as the capital of Pormalia from its founding, and was soon determined to become the seat of government.

Politics and Government

Limone’s government is similar to Parsrid. The Prefect of Limone is appointed by the Governor of Pormalia for a traditionally four month term, and the Prefect holds all executive power. The Legislative Committee consists of one Councilman from each Corregimentos.

The sole difference between Limone and Parsrid is their divisions. Parsrid is divided into three Communes administered by Supervisors, while Limone has two Corregimentos overseen by their respective Corregidor, whom also serve on the Legislative Committee. The Communes also are purely ceremonial, while the Legislative Committee delegated the power of building regulation to the Corregidors.
