Patrollers (later known as Moderators or Mods) were editors appointed by Administrators with the intention that they shall help assist Administrators in carrying out general site maintenance and fixes. Later on, Patrollers patrolled also held the right to view the moderation log, a system which allowed patrollers alongside admins the ability to approve or reject edits made by newly registered accounts, in order to take some burden off of Administrators.
