The Minister of Justice is the head of the Ministry of Justice and the member of the Federal Cabinet responsible for administrating the enforcement of legal prosecution in Roscamistan.
The Minister of Justice was formed on 15 May 2022 after the transfer of the legal duties from the Interior Secretary, leaving him as the enforcer of internal policy. The current minister is Joseph Trick, appointed to the position on 12 June 2023 succeeding the second holder, Matthew Tonna.
Role
The Minister of Justice is the chief prosecutor of the Cabinet. Investigation on a federal level are led by the Minister of Justice. He is also the appointer of the Provincial-Attorneys on advice of the provincial governments, and nominates the provincial superior judge. Alongside the Attorney General, the minister is one of two main legal officers in the executive branch.
