Oath of Allegiance (Arstotzkan Union)
The Oath of Allegiance (Arstotzkan Union) is a legal requirement as prescribed in the Constitution of the Independent Federal Republic of the Arstotzkan Union for any person wishing to hold office in the Arstotzkan Federal Government or be a member of the People's Armed Forces.
Under Section 4 of the Constitution it states in Article 1 that either President and or Vice President must swear to the Oath of Allegiance to the Office of the Presidency and under Article 6 it states "Anyone who is enlisted into the Arstotzkan Federal Government, and People's Armed Forces of the Arstotzkan Union must swear an oath of allegiance." Followed by the two allegiances.
Although it not explicitly listed in Arstotzkan legislation the penalty for failure to recite the oath, it is expected that failure will prevent the individual form holding office.

Office of the Presidency
The Oath of Allegiance for the Office of the Presidency, sometimes referred to as the Oath of Office is a Constitutional requirement for holding office and the Oath is similar for both the First and Second President's, while the oath for the Vice President is different.
Presidential Oath:
I, [Name], do solemnly affirm that I will faithfully execute the esteemed role of a supreme member of the Office of the Presidency of the Independent Federal Republic of the Arstotzkan Union. I pledge to uphold the Constitution and safeguard the citizens of the Arstotzkan Union, employing all necessary measures to perpetuate peace. I vow to staunchly defend our people and our allies, ensuring the endurance of our collective prosperity for generations to come. May god bring guidance in leading me to defend, protect, and govern with utmost diligence and capability.
Vice Presidential Oath
I, [Name], solemnly affirm to assume the responsibilities of the Vice Presidency with full comprehension of its significance. My role is to support and oversee the President(s) and their citizens, fostering equality and unity within our Nation. It is with great honor that I accept the duty to step into the role of the President, should they be unable to fulfill their obligations. Under the watchful eye of the divine and with the support of the People, I pledge to defend and protect the Constitution to the best of my abilities.
People's Armed Forces
The Oath of Allegiance for service members and those joining the People's Armed Forces is also a Constitutional requirement under Article 6, Section 4. Originally the oath mentioned the Arstotzkan Union Defense Forces until the name was changed to the People's Armed Forces in November 2022.
I [Name] must fulfill my duties as a soldier in the People's Armed Forces of the Arstotzkan Union and I shall protect the people of the Arstotzkan Union from threats that may impede on the rights of the citizens and the security of the Constitution. It shall be my duty to also protect the national security of the Independent Federal Republic of the Arstotzkan Union.
Arstotzkan Federal Government
Mentioned in the same section, all persons joining the Arstotzkan Federal Government it is a Constitutional requirement to officially join.
I [Name] must fulfill my duties as an elected representative and member of the Arstotzkan Federal Government. It shall be my duty to aid the President(s) in their duties as Head Of State and I shall protect the Constitution and legal rights of every citizen, to the best of my ability.
Pledge of Allegiance
In 2024, the Arstotzkan Federal Government officially introduced a pledge of allegiance to the Arstotzkan Union for those becoming citizens of the nation.
I, [Name], as a proud member of the Independent Federal Republic of the Arstotzkan Union, do pledge my unwavering loyalty and commitment to our independent socialist republic. I vow to uphold our shared values, respect our laws, and strive for the betterment of our nation. I affirm to stand by my comrades in times of prosperity and adversity, contributing to the unity and strength of our nation. I make this pledge freely and sincerely, with a steadfast resolve to honor my responsibilities as a citizen of the Arstotzkan Union.
