Oldhaven is an Autonomous Territory of the Florian Republic founded on 11 May 2017.

Overview

Oldhaven was founded on 11 May 2017 by Dimitrije Golubović and Stewart Florian after Stewart wanted to have an overseas territory of the Florian Republic. the territory was granted its own government and negotiate foreign relations, border control etc. The territory was allowed to have its own sports federation and the football team was accepted into the MVFF.

Government and politics

Oldhaven is a monarchy. The Head of state, the King is Dimitrije Golubović. Citizens of the territory can vote in the Florian Republic Elections as the territory does not have its own government.

Law and order

There is no court in Oldhaven and there is not a constitution yet.

Foreign relations

Oldhaven does not have any official relations. It is not allowed to have foreign relations as it is a territory of the Florian Republic. However, on the 22nd May 2017, Oldhaven was granted permission to apply for the Balkan Union as an observer.

Military

There will be no military in Oldhaven, because of the small population. When the Florian Republic has a military the Florian Republican Military will be responsible for the protection of the territory.

Economy

Oldhaven is currently using the Trimole as its currency and as it is a territory of the Florian Republic, it plans to use the proposed Florian Pound.

There are no media companies in the territory.But has a featured web page on the Florian Republic Website.

Sport

The King of Oldhaven is also the president of the Micronational Virtual Football Federation. Oldhaven played 3 games so far (all games were friendly) and won 2/3.

The Disc

The Disc is the virtual stadium of Oldhaven. There are plans to improve it`s capacity.

The Disc_2 is a plan for the future look of the Disc. The King stated that after the finish of the Oldhaven League and Oldhaven Cup the building of the new Disc will start. The old stadium will be destroyed so the new stadium can be made in its place.

New stadiums

When the Oldhaven League started the King stated that he will give money to the champions so they can make their own stadium. This would mean that there are going to be two stadiums. The King also said that the winner of Oldhaven Cup will also get a stadium. If the same team wins the league and the cup the 2nd placed from the league will get a new stadium.
