The Royal Gaplastovian Academy is a selective, independent secondary school in the Federated States of Gapla. Its history dates back to 2015, when its first predecessor (Forever Academy) was founded, but it officially received a charter from then-Sovereign Prince Wyatt Baek in 2023. It currently has 7 students and 2 faculty members, accepting 31.8% of the 22 applications received to enter the school in the last admissions cycle. It is tuition-free for Gaplan citizens, and tuition is 120,000 GPD annually (6,000 USD) for non-Gaplan citizens. It is a member of the Gaplan Association of Independent Schools, an association of Gaplan independent schools.

It is known as a more selective, academically rigorous, and more individualized approach to an education than the National Academy, Gapla's national public school. Several students from the National Academy elect to maintain dual enrollment status with the Royal Gaplastovian Academy, and applying for the Royal Gaplastovian Academy while enrolled in the National Academy is common: over 80% of current enrolled students at the National Academy have applied to the Royal Gaplastovian Academy. Notable students include Wyatt Baek, Renaldo Chang, and Chelsea Chen.

The school operates as an online school, providing courses in various subjects such as mathematics, English Language Arts, history (including a semester course on Gaplan History), science, computer science, and various electives. However, it plans to become an in-person institution if Gapla settles Greater Danubia, likely near government buildings. In contrast to the National Academy, it uses the Harkness table instead of traditional lectures, a method used at U.S. independent schools such as Phillips Exeter Academy and the Lawrenceville School.

The school has been openly very critical of affirmative action practices used at educational institutions around the world, and as a result, does not practice it. However, some have criticized that this has resulted in a lack of diversity in the school's student body. The school's student body by race is 100.0% Asian, and its applicant field was composed of 90.9% Asian applicants and 9.1% White applicants. By sex, the school's student body is 57.1% male and 42.9% female, with its applicant field being composed of 63.6% male applicants and 36.4% female applicants. However, the school is known to use legacy preferences in its admissions, and this has resulted in criticism of the fairness of its admission process.
