The Royal Regiment of Grenadiers, known commonly as the Royal Grenadiers is a light infantry regiment of the Public Force of Laskaridia. It's primary role is as a foot guard and a light attack battalion, the regiment serves many purposes. The regiment is the most senior of the Public Force, consisting of veterans of the force and ceremonial officers. It was formed by Shahan II near Saintathen, and has since fought in the Ruisseauan Civil War, and as a force in the Insurgency in Westavia. It is modeled after the British Grenadiers, a regiment of foot in the United Kingdom.
The regiment's clothing is simple, a grey or green colored jacket, a shoulder and cap badge. Officers will wear a small lapel pin on their jacket to signify a command over the regiment. It is headed by its Colonel-in-Chief, the King of Laskaridia, Sean II and V. And its Commanding Officer (CO), Matthew Wu. It's main march is the anthem of Laskaridia.
Honours
The regiment is the oldest in Laskaridia, having won many honors. It's establishment honor was granted by the Westavian Emperor himself.
