The Vice Chancellor of the Garman Empire, commonly just the Vice Chancellor of Garmany, is the second highest imperial cabinet official after the Chancellor of Garmany. The vice chancellor is the deputy to the chancellor and sits as the deputy head of government.

Appointment
The vice chancellor is usually the fist minister to be appointed after the chancellor. The vice chancellor is nominated by the chancellor and is then officially appointed by the Monarch and serves at their pleasure.
Role
In everyday politics, being a vice chancellor is more an honorary title. The vice chancellor may head cabinet meetings when the chancellor is abroad or unable to attend. The function of vice chancellor is to use the specific constitutional powers of the chancellor in case that the chancellor is unable to perform their duties, deputising in their absence.
