Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is the executive department of the Arstotzkan Federal Government tasked with the foreign affairs and relations of the Arstotzkan Union. The executive of the department is the Chairman of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The department also acts as an advisory body to the Executive Committee through the Chairman in regards to the international affairs of the Arstotzkan Union and relations with intermicronational organizations such as the United Micronations Treaty Alliance.
Notably the department is also concerned with advising and promoting the national interest of the Arstotzkan Union to the federal government and overseas allies. The Department also works with the Department of New Zealand Affairs through the newly created New Zealand Affairs Joint Committee, to monitor relations with New Zealand and enforce the ideals of the Arstotzkan - New Zealand Agreement.
Bodies
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is made up of three body offices.
Foreign Affairs Committee
The Foreign Affairs Committee is the main advisory body of the Department. It is tasked with analysing and advising the Executive Committee on international affairs and geo-political activities.
Federal Immigration Bureau
The Federal Immigration Bureau is an agency in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade tasked with overseeing the immigration and monitoring border control efforts. It also works with the Arstotzkan Federal Police Service in controlling the Arstotzkan Federal Border and Customs Police Service.
New Zealand Affairs Joint Committee
The New Zealand Affairs Joint Committee is the agency tasked with jointly monitoring relations and activities with New Zealand. It works with the Department of New Zealand Affairs to achieve this task.
