The Chairman of Foreign Affairs and Trade is the executive head of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Arstotzkan Union and is responsible for the foreign and external affairs and relations of the nation. The position was created for the new department taking the position from the Chief Ambassador of the Department of International Affairs and Relations.
The duty of the chairman is the work with the three bodies in the department and advise the Executive Committee on international affairs and actions to take in order to pursue the Arstotzkan Union's foreign interest. They also work with the Chairman of the Department of New Zealand Affairs in monitoring relations with New Zealand and upholding the Arstotzkan - New Zealand Agreement.
