Early Days (Calvin's Administration)
In the first 2 months of the Republic's history, many will recall it as a peaceful time with no issues arising. At that time the country was new and had just begun, as claims were laid out by Calvin White for Jyilzyem (the then capital) in his backyard. Aenderia then arose to a more popular scale when the ICON Micronational Music Contest happened, however, not much was documented in this period of relative peace, and so due to that information on this period in time before the election controversy is difficult to obtain. One of the main documented events was the expansion of the agricultural business in Aenderia.
Aenderia flourished, both economically and politically. It was seen as a country with promising potential along with its current leader, Calvin White. It was seen as a period of no conflict and lasted three months, giving White the longest term as President in Aenderia (as of March 10, 2019). It was a period of peace and development, which was later abruptly stopped by the serious conflict which began on September 22.
First Political Crisis of Aenderia (2018)
Deposition of White
In September 2018, the first Vice Presidential elections were being held for Aenderia. William Efton (C), Horatio Eden (CO), and Ashley Jaax (D) had been the candidates for the election. At the time, Ashley Jaax was running as the DPA candidate, a party that is now defunct as its members left during the political controversy.
As the election results were being compiled, many began to raise speculation that the DPA (Democratic Party of Aenderia) had been committing voter fraud by inserting in votes for those who were not known to be active at the time on the voting server. An investigation was called, leading to the temporary dismissal of Calvin White from his office as an investigation committee was looking into what had occurred. Despite being promised his job back once when the investigation was complete, White refused to give up his office for reasons he saw as 'morally wrong', initiating the political conflict that would forever change the country. White was later acquitted of the trial but was prevented from taking back his position by Horatio Eden. This led some people (including White) to speculate that the Aenderian government had been showing early signs of corruption.
Horatio Eden was quickly sworn in as the President, but both he and White had claimed the office. Officially under rank Horatio Eden was only the Vice President, however, White was the President. (be aware that White had control over the ranking system.) White refused to give up his position because he felt that after Eden refused to give back White his office, he felt as if he were the President and he deserved the role of President.
Election and Secession
This issue led to a fierce clash between both parties and instigated a criminal trial against Jayden Lycon and Horatio Eden, spearheaded by Calvin White with the assistance of Attorney General Joshua Mullins. The defendants were accused of voter fraud, sedition, and harassment. William Efton himself was also on the list of those accused, but charges were dropped against him due to an agreement he had signed with Joshua. This case was dropped a month later due to the lack of collaboration between the prosecution and the Judge.
As elections were coming in near for the President, White announced that he would be seceding 2 of Aenderia's territories without consent (Kir Islands and Jilzyem) if he were to lose the election. This announcement caused enough outrage to eventually push him into seceding under his own will, having known that elections had not even occurred yet. Afterwards, the elections were cancelled, and Horatio Eden moved the country to a new Discord server to end dependence on Aenderia’s online presence under White's ownership- while White formed a new country, a monarchy known as the Kingdom of Auvenum to suit his claims.
Eden to Efton
In the first few days of Horatio Eden's Presidency, rapid changes were put into place in Aenderia as a way to instate a supposedly more free, less oppressing nation. As the days went by, however, Eden became increasingly inactive in the country and was seen only interacting with other countries he had seemed to draw interest toward, drawing mass criticism from many, including his own Vice President, William Efton. After these complaints, he surrendered the position and William Efton took the Presidency the moment thereafter.
As William Efton took office, he began to instate his policy of complete isolation from Auvenum as he saw this as the best option for the country in the 'big picture', and moving onward. Meanwhile,
tension between White and William was brewing due to a series of foul exchanges they had on Discord, starting the only war the country would ever enter. The war was comprised of total fiction and was seen as childish on both sides, however, facts point to Calvin White beginning the war as ICBMs were 'launched' at Cyntell before Aenderia took action. White repeatedly criticized Efton, calling him a 'dictator' as he never got prior consent from others to launch an attack against Auvenum as they had been 'launching' missiles at the island.
This was the only significant event which occurred in William's time as President as he soon resigned after only days of being in office. He chose Jayden Lycon as President and dismissed the war stating it was dubious and childlike, but eventually saying that he had to play ‘with a kid to keep him going’.
Lycon Administration
When Jayden Lycon took office as President, he was immediately hit with the aftermath of the political crisis which had sent the country in a deep divide. Nicholas Randouler, a new citizen then made the Aenderese Reform Bloc, in which regularly argued with the Centrist executive government to help close the divide. However, the party favored relations with Auvenum while the Centrists favored having little to no contact with Auvenum, favoring "professionalism through ignorance."
As time went by, Nicholas withdrew his party's stance on Auvenum relations as the King of Auvenum, Calvin White, defaced the Aenderese flag and replaced the sun on the flag with a swastika, causing mass controversy in Aenderia and ending any attempt at relations with Auvenum. Jayden's administration took to preparing the country to leave its long-held Provisional Republic and become a full 2nd Republic of Aenderia. As Jayden's administration began its work, a massive surge in activity within the country occurred which lead to an all-time high confidence level from the people in the country. (However, due to the term's length, the Lycon administration is widely considered the "Second Republic.")
William Efton, now the Vice President of Aenderia, was working on multiple missions within the country, known as the 'After Days', a program which is aimed at stabilizing the country and making sure the country was constantly growing. Most of the conversation in Aenderia moved away from the political crisis and focused on more recent events an active chat on meme culture. The people of Aenderia became generally happy with the Second Republic.
GUM Membership Journey
Jayden's administration revealed plans to join the Grand Unified Micronational in December 2018, a well known micronational organization. During this time, the government set up the GUM
- Aenderese Membership Committee, which would help to transition Aenderia to GUM membership status. The plan would call for Aenderia to apply for observer status in early 2019, and then filing for full membership in late 2019. William Efton was quoted saying this about the plan:
" I admit that we could have been better in the past, but this mission toward GUM membership is a great way for us to finally move on from something that lasted too long. Showing our goodbyes to the past and our hellos to the future are the way to go."
This committee was then put on hold due to the 2018-2019 Aenderese Political Crisis. It would be reactivated later on.
Solidification of the Legislature and Controversies Surrounding Nick Randouler at the Time
After the December 2018 General Election which gave Jayden Lycon and his administration another term, many new parties were formed and existing parties dwindled in size.
The Social Democratic Party Coalition (or SDPA - LDU) quickly gained traction immediately after the election, as its founder Milaw Oakforrest had been voted into the then-named House of Electors with a slight lead over her opponent, Redto Redton at only around 7%. Hours after her win, the Communist Party leader Chau Khang announced that he would be joining the SDPA and that his current party, the Communist Party, would close some of its operations. The Communist Party merged with the SDPA after Khang's announcement.
Nick Randouler would then announce that he was 'resigning' (Note: he would withdraw this statement hours later) mainly due to the lack of change in the country under his perception and that he would give up all government roles and return to becoming a citizen, saying:
"I'm resigning from all my posts here and just going to be a citizen, Y'all take this as a joke honestly I know you're going to say sh*t to each other but I've tried helping the place and Y'all just make us look worse. Gg by."
His resignation notice was criticized by some for its supposed immature, profane language and also the fact that it was delivered over an informal means of communication (a Discord server chat). They also went on to say that Nick did not do everything in his power to create change and that he was only waiting for change to occur so that he could take credit for it.
Some defended his actions, saying that this kind of foul language was warranted, noting the supposed lack of improvement in Aenderia at the time when this announcement was made and that Nick was doing this to raise change and awareness in the country of the lack of said topic.
Nick would then revoke this statement privately to William Efton over a direct messaging system, noting that he was there to improve the country since Jay Clover had been voted into office, who was an enemy of Nick.
After these actions occurred, the Centrist Party dismissed Haeden Eden from their party over claims that he had not been proficient in adhering to their standards of maturity and professionalism. Haeden would then join the Aenderia Republican Party, headed by Jay Clover.
The Centrist Party would be criticized by a few for not dismissing Haeden in the past, as they said that the Centrists dismissed Haeden only over regret of Nick R’s resignation as Haeden has been one of the major causes of Nick’s ‘resignation’. Haeden Eden was not invited back to the Centrist party even after Nick had revoked his resignation, although this would be revoked as the Republican party was dissolved in a later date.
Around 6 – 7 hours after this occurred, a major member of the Aenderia Reform Bloc, Ashley Jaax, decided to leave Aenderia Reform and join the Liberal Progressive Union. This incited an argument between Nick, Ashley and the LPU’s leader, Nicolas Millian. As the argument escalated Nick called Ashley a ‘parasite’ and had asked the Centrist Party to form a coalition with Aenderia Reform through a direct message to William Efton, which did not garner a response as William feared either yes or no would cause an event that was unintentional and would decrease the country’s stability.
Nicolas Millian, frustrated with Nick, began to criticize Nick’s party heavily and claimed that the ARB was using its political members as only a power tool and never supported their politicians, stating:
First of all, when I ran for seat 8 [of the house of Electors], the ideals of AR[B] only stopped me from being able to campaign for my ideas and what I think can make a better Aenderia. The party barely backs its politicians. Not only do the politicians have to hold their own like independents, but I believe that many candidates were only being slowed down by AR[B]. On top of this, the party leadership set the ideas in the party, where the party was originally meant to be a big tent party to reform Aenderia. Not only are the Centrists doing the reform for us, but the ARB lost its true meaning and intentions some time ago. I believe that either we aren't parasites, or the inability for the ARB to function like the other parties is only turning its members into parasites, therefore slowing the party down. There are no benefits coming out of AR[B], and therefore the metaphor and insult 'parasite' is invalid and void.
Nick Randouler privately responded to this message with a statement that claimed that Nick was saying ‘what needs to be said’ and contradicted a majority of the points Nicolas had stated with a Whataboutism like technique.
Soon, the SDPA and the LPU joined together and merged into one single party coalition, calling themselves the SDPA - LPU Coalition. The coalition soon made an ad with the text “Thanks for making us the biggest coalition”, which after this ad was posted Nick R claimed that the Centrist Party and the Aenderia Reform were in a coalition since early December which would then make the Centrists and the Reform the largest coalition. William Efton then said that that was not true as the the Centrists did not neither approve or deny their coalition request, and Nick revoked his statement as being a misunderstanding.
Footnote: The Second Republic
Most people at that time, believed that the Second Republic was a provisional government, therefore granting the name of "Aenderese Provisional Republic." However, due to it being the second longest term, most people, including most of the government, referred to the term as the "Second Republic." To this day, the government officially refers to this era as the Second Republic, due to the new constitution and the length of the term.
Second Aenderese Political Crisis (2019)
Resignation Domino Effect
After the news spread over Aenderia of the aforementioned misunderstanding, Nick Randouler announced he would resign, which lead to a domino effect with other politicians. Later, Efton resigned causing a fall in Aenderia. Many influential Aenderians joined the Social Democratic Party of Aenderia which became the face of opposition to the new government which it considered undemocratic and undependable. The crisis was a boon to the SDPA which grew greatly during it due to its opposition to Nicholas presidency and due to its promises of reform, catching the attention of former ARB members. Nicholas Randouler eventually left in opposition to the power of the SDPA and Jay Clover became the new president appoint, however after some drama regarding a poll and the new president appoint, a prominent SDPA member named Milaw Oakforrest became the president appoint and she would be the first female president of Aenderia. Eventually the SDPA grew to on the 29th of December, filling in 83% of the House of Electors. At this time the SDPA had two prominent figures in Aenderian Politics. (Milaw Oakforrest and Tony Sweigart.) The only member left that is not part of the SDPA was Alperen Kadim Gazi, who remained a staunch ARB supporter despite the non-existence of its leadership.
Breakup
States and territories began breaking away from Aenderia and forming their own nations. First was the Democratic Republic Of New Hanoi, and later Arpet- which later joined New Hanoi. The later merged to from the Union Of Red Aenderese Republics. The nations uniting was taken as a shock as the new founded country was a one party stated rule by the SDPA party with a communist caucus being the leading faction. The issue almost lead to the dissolution of Aenderia and unification between the Kingdom of Auvenum. A summit was planned between New Hanoi, Auvenum, and Aenderia but never held due to time contrasts. It would eventually be held 2 weeks after its planned date.
The End Of The SDPA Era
On the 16th of January, 2019, Vice President Nick Fisher under the Milaw Administration attempted to impeach President Milaw Oakforrest by gathering support from his allies. The vote was strongly in favor of keeping the President as well as the House of Electors vote and it was expected that the President would have major reforms regarding the use of power in the executive positions of the government. A vote in the house was made by Matthew Laptev to impeach Milaw Oakforrest. The vote for impeachment "passed," but Milaw kept questioning Jay Clover I about the House of Electors vote since it couldn't be held without the popular vote also passing. On Friday, Milaw Oakforrest transferred the ownership to President Jay Clover. Strangely enough, Clover appointed 2 Vice Presidents, Nicholas Randouler and Thomas Warner. He also appointed Jayden Lycon and William Efton as advisors of the state, Calvin White as his Secretary Of State, Archie Souver and Nicólas Millan as High Judges. Jay Clover called elections on w:Valentines’ Day for the house go Electors and fired all House members, removing his opposition in government.
Collapse of the Country and Revival
Clover undemocratically changed Aenderia into a socialist dictatorship, which recived infamy from the people of Aenderia. After the outrage, Clover was pressured by the people to give power to Nick Randouler, who had returned to the political landscape in Aenderia. Nick R then suspended the government temporarily in order to write a constitution, which meant that he was the sole authority of power in Aenderia during that time. This caused some to claim that Aenderia was a dictatorship, but Nicholas responded claiming that even though the government was only ruled by one person at that time he had not passed any kind of law inhibiting the people’s freedom of speech or other basic human rights. Nicholas Randouler then announced that he would not be running for re-election in February, but would still be running for a position in the legislature.
William Efton had sent out his Semi-Communist Constitution of Aenderia out for public signing, stating that it would not become law even if it was signed and that the constitution would be put into effect once when Nicholas Randouler left office in February if he was able to reach a deal with the future president to make this constitution the law of the land. Nicholas Randouler would begin to threaten people under counts of treason in Aenderian Court if they dare signed Efton’s Constitution; stating that signing Efton’s constitution was applicable reason for a person to be charged with treason. When asked to provide an Aenderian law that directly stated for it to be illegal to sign Efton’s Constitution, Randouler insisted that there ‘were still laws’ but did not provide an actual valid law that incriminated signing Efton’s Constitution. Instead he resorted to providing the definition of the word treason.
With steadily falling approval ratings and pressure from the people at the time, Nicholas Randouler agreed to start reopening the government and immediately appointed a Vice President, who was Milaw Oakforrest. However it had been discovered by the Vice President herself that at that point the role was only honorary due to the fact that she had been given no advanced permissions needed to carry the duties of a government worker, essentially meaning she had the same permissions of government as a citizen.
Hours later, Nicholas and Milaw would get into a heated confrontation that was made public by a messaging app (Discord) in which they had argued on issues regarding the legitimacy of Randouler’s treason claim. Then suddenly, Nicholas would declare that he dissolved the Aenderese Republic, calling it a country of a history of ‘backstabbing, corruption, trust issues, and lies’ and immediately deleted the server which contained the country’s online presence thereafter. This claim went unrecognized to Milaw and others who believed that Randouler had no official permission to dissolve the country. Some believe that this was a desperate attempt by Randouler to dissolve the government before the February elections as his approval rating had tanked to just 23% and that he would have not wanted to see himself lose badly in the election.
Milaw Oakforrest would then reclaim the country and set up a new Discord server for the country’s online presence and therefore reclaimed the country. All real-life presence of the country was also reclaimed.
State Emergency Council: Milaw's Second Administration
The new Republic used a system of direct democracy for the first few days of its founding as all vacant positions from Randouler's administration were to be filled in democratically by election, leaving Milaw as the only formal leader in the country. She also appointed a few temporary positions to maintain the country's macronational, real life and online presence, of which she named the 'fixers'.
February 2019 Aenderese Presidential Election
After the revival multiple events occurred in the nation. The first election, which was stopped by the accusation was that Thomas Warner who was running the election used bot accounts. The second elections were scheduled for February 16, 2019 - Then it was stopped again, due to accusations voter fraud against Jayden Lycon, whom was managing the election this time, was accused of manipulating the end-date of the election to manipulate the result. Another election was held, leading to a win for Jayden Lycon and the first ever president to be elected into office in months.
Lycon's Second Administration
After winning the election, Lycon was writing up his cabinet plans. He eventually announced the plan, and planned elections near the start of March. It was also discovered that Milaw violated the constitution and legally could not be the Vice President since she was Head of State of another micronation. Lycon appointed his former Vice President, William Efton, as acting president.
Colonization of Aaron Island
During Lycon's campaign, Lycon promised to expand the land of Aenderia by claiming an area where a flag could be placed. The Government finally decided on an Island on the Highland Creek in Toronto, since it was close to Noyan and Scarborough. On February 23, 2019, Aenderese citizens arrived and colonized Aaron Island as an claimed overseas territory, and planted multiple flags there. The day after, the flags were removed by the Aenderese Government itself, stating
"We, Aenderese citizens are responsible to respect our community and to protect our wildlife. The government is committed to these values and recently just picked up our flag within Aaron Island."
The Government also clearly stated that this was not a retreat, as they still have claims to this archipelago of islands.
Reunification between Aenderese Republic and Xuan Phuc Socialist
Due to inactiveness, the Xuan Phuc Socialist wanted to reunify with Aenderia, using the Special Administrative Region system like with Macau and Hong Kong. It almost did ocurred in Milaw's term, however due to Clover creating the short-lived communist republic, reunification was never continued.
On March 2, 2019, representatives from the Xuan Phuc Socialist and Aenderese Republic met up in the Xuan Phuc Socialist Discord server and held reunification talks. Both parties agreed on reunification on March 3, 2019 on these terms,, with New Hanoi joining as a SAR and Arpet to join in a later date. On March 3, 2019, New Hanoi joined the Aenderese Republic as a SAR, and Arpet joining as a state on the 11th of March, 2019.
Distaste toward the GUM
On March 6, William Efton revoked his support for GUM membership which he had been an early and vocal supporter of, stating that:
"... I have seen very little actual outcomes from the Grand Unified Micronational themselves regarding laws and the abatement of issues within their member base..."
On March 12, 2019, Lycon and Efton announced plans to join the ‘EU’, stating that:
"...Aenderia hopes to be able to join the EU soon, and if accepted would be the first ever micro-nation to join the EU. "
Aenderia would then become the first ever micronation to join the ‘EU’. The ‘EU’ would actually be come to be named as the Cupertino Alliance as part of an attempted humiliation of the GUM, named Operation North Macedonia although it achieved only some success.
Treaty of Misberia
During the months of March, the governments of both the Aenderese Republic and Kingdom of Auvenum expressed interest in signing both an neutrality agreement to end the infamous rivalry between each nation. Aenderia and Auvenum both agree to sit for a summit on the Kingdom of Misberia, which was an ally of both party. The final agreement was a treaty which included neutrality, military truce, and the addition for foreign teamwork. Another summit at the Kingdom of Misberia will be held in the near future to officially sign the treaty.
Lycon-Khang Dual Administration
Colonization of Nouveau Montréal.
Instead of 1 president winning the seat, 2 presidents did. It was a tie, and Lycon proposed to Khang to form a coalition government since both parties (Centrists and New Communists) had similar views on policies. The administration started in late June 2019 and saw Aenderia's growth as well as inactivity from both parties. Furthermore, the government attempted to sue Calvin White which ended to the government deciding to not participate in the case anymore. This era bought in both Nerdystan as a federal dominion (which left a couple of weeks later) and Nouveau Montréal, a tiny piece of land in Ontario. Aenderia and Bepistan had a major conflict in July 2019 to Auvenum due to its leader attempting to cause a riot in Aenderia, and other problems with Auvenum's government.. In September 2019, Aenderia saw a minor activity dip, which led to Lycon calling in Executive Order VI, which dissolved the government and replaced it with a provisional one.
October Provisional Government
After outcries from government members, notability Andy Eftin and Jay Clover, Lycon decided to end the previous government and replaced it with a provisional government. House of Commons will not sit during this period, and Aenderia would be returning to direct democracy. The government did talks with the Empire of Iustus regarding the action of leasing some Aenderian territories to Iustus, and a referendum was hosted but ended up into a tie. Though Government of Aenderia approved the deal, the Government of Iustus did not, with the bill being defeated in Iustus's House of Representatives by 3 for and 4 against. Thus, Aenderia did not join Iustus. New Hanoi was also admitted as a state during this time.
New constitution and the end of Lycon's presidency
Aenderia faced a period of inactivity during this time. Only 2 proposals were proposed and passed in October - November 2019. During the fall of Auvenum, Aenderia decided to expand its territory in New York to include most of Auvenum, engaging in a dispute with multiple nations, which were later resolved. On 4 January 2020, Jayden Lycon proposed to replace the constitution with a one that is more "law-like"; this was later enforced with the Day 365 Act, 2020.
The new constitution was the biggest in Aenderian history, measuring 43 pages. The constitution was both praised by its lengthiness by foreigners and also criticized by its use of quotas.
The quota was later repealed in the House of Commons on 4 March 2020. Furthermore, due to the lack of understanding of the Westminster system in Aenderia (for which some parts of the constitution were based upon), the constitution was amended to make the government based on the American system. Following the Day 365 Act, the Cupertino Alliance was re-founded, after its dissolution in June 2019.
Elections were set on 29 February 2020. Lycon attempted to run again, as the Constitution Act, 2020, abolished the maximum amount of terms that one could hold, but faced public backlash and decided to run for President. Khang faced spectrum by both Lycon and Matthew Laptev regarding inactivity, claiming that he spends all his time on the music channel. The election gave way to an Efton / Khang win, with Efton / Lycon in second and Clover / Matthew Laptev in third. The change of governance from Lycon to Efton happened on 2 March 2020.
Efton's Second Administration

Efton took the presidency after 2 years since his first administration. In his term, he created the Zemin dollar, a currency between New Hanoi and Arpet. The legislature was also renamed to the Legislative Council, named after the Hong Kong's legislature. On 25 March 2020, after the 69 Hour Session, Aenderia voted to leave the Cupertino Alliance, but later reversed the decision after a successful referendum to rejoin the Cupertino Alliance and successful bargaining and negotiations between both parties.
On 30 March 2020, Efton drafted the plan for New Hanoi seccession, and New Hanoi voters voted to leave Aenderia on 1 April 2020, after a referendum on 25 March 2020.
On 12 June 2020, Efton later decided to resign due to the micronational community's reaction to Nicholas Randouler's death, as well as a decline of interest in micronationalism as a whole. Lycon later became acting president, which he transferred to Nicholas Fisher.
Fisher and semi-dissolution
Fisher's administration was plagued with interactions from newcomer James Bornstein, starting with unclear wording from the Constitution Act to accusations of voter fraud. The issue was later resolved and
Jamez was allowed to nominate himself for President. Aenderia later hosted the 2020 MOF Micronational Rock Paper Scissors Tournament, after submitting a bid to host the games on 12 May 2020. Activity began to grow but talks about the possible dissolution of the country, Cupertino Alliance administration, or partition plans of the country that began to grow. A conflict between an accusation to Jamez that he committed voter fraud also arose, due to an alternate account in the Aenderian server as well as claims that Jamez writing style was suspiciously close to Anthony Sweigart's. On 20 June 2020, after a quick trial which led to the plea of guilty from Leon Montan, Jamez left Aenderia.
Soon after the incident, Aenderia went into a state of inactivity. On 21 June 2020, Fisher proclaimed the dissolution of the Sixth Aenderian Republic, returning to the Fifth. This was later re-affirmed from a vote in the Legislative Council. After almost a year of inactivity and failed attempts to revive the nation soo followed. On 13 January 2021, Nicholas Fisher held a Poll vote to whom will become the Vice President of the nation, the two candidates were Maximillian Von Schroeder (Neé: Meister) and Nicholas Lokin. Schroeder won the vote and was sworn in by 2:00pm EST the same day. James Bornstein then again started conflict in the nation "charging" the President of the republic with dereliction of duty. Fisher was found not guilty by account of Leon Montan. This finally sparked activity within the nation.
Revival of Early 2021
The Monarchist Movement
During the end of the semi dissolution, when Nicholas Fisher declared Aenderia revived, a movement started by the Wynnish People in Aenderia. Whilst President Fisher was fighting the Cupertino Alliance for an Unban for an unjustifiable offense, Maximillian Von Schroeder and Christoph Billung started to slowly take over the nation. Protests arose in the nations channels for a monarchy. VP Schroeder held 2 Referendums regarding a monarchy in the republic, and the people surely wanted a monarchy, but Fisher was reluctant to give over control to the Vice President because of the fact he wanted to make Aenderia part of Wynnland. After these events Fisher removed Schroeder from the Vice Presidency, and he left.
Failed Coup De E'tat of the Fisher Administration
Around 20–30 January 2021, after Schroeder left Aenderia, Nicholas Lokin and Jayden Lycon asked President Fisher to give Aenderia to Humblea, and Fisher declined at first because the whole point of firing Schroeder was that Aenderia wouldn't go under control of another nation. Lokin put a vote to the House of Commons, and it did not pass. A few days later President Fisher decided to give control to Humblea, not realizing the State would not like that. Derek Housinger intervened with military action. Acting Attorney General Christoph Billung and Minister of Defense Derek Housinger had Fisher declare martial law, whilst the nation was in chaos. Him and Christoph Billing sends (Minister of State) Nicholas Lokin, (Minister of Justice) Leon Montan, and (President) Fisher a declaration of charges. Nicholas Fisher was charged with four separate counts of treason, Nicholas Lokin was charged with 3 counts of treason and Leon Montan was charged with 2 counts of treason. Leon Montan laughed at these accusations and then left the nation. Nicholas Fisher and Nicholas Lokin fought these charges, do note that the charges did not actually specifiy any broken laws. Billung decided he was going to be the magistrate, Fisher then declined the request and called on Grand Unified Micronational Supreme Justice Anthony Clark. After a few days the Prosecution gave up and all charges were dropped. In the end Aenderia was still independent.
The Rise of Fascism
In February 2021 many new faces joined the nation as a result of efforts to rebuild the citizenship base and a create a more diverse election. This influx of members created a spike in activity of 1500+ Messages a day, numbers last seen during the Lycon-Khang dual administration. New political parties sprung up in Aenderia for the first time since January 2020, the most notable being the Aenderian Action Party, the Christian Fascist Party, the Social Nationalist Front, and Fuckpolitics.
The Christian Fascist Party was headed by John Doyle, SNF ran by Maximillian Von Meister and Gabriel Sebastian. ore members and parties popped up in the nation, the Aenderian National Congress, the "Fuckpolitics" Party, The Communist Party of Aenderia, and a bunch more. One of the new Citizens Henry Goebbels started to post Nazi Propaganda and started the Aenderian National Socialist Workers Party, which is the most popular party in the nation as of right now. The anti fascist parties such as the Aenderia Reform Bloc The Aenderian National Congress, and the Aenderia Action Party started the AUAF (Aenderians United Against Fascism) Coalition against the new Pro-Fascism Parties. Noticing the rise of fascism, multiple nations drew criticism and outrage towards Aenderia. Aenderia received backlash from Essexia, and a few other nations for the Nazis role in the Republic, so accordingly, the leaders, Lokin, Fisher and Laptev banned all forms of hate speech from the nation, they and exiled User:Henry Goebbels (he was later unexiled). User:Henry Goebbels later returned to Aenderia and formed the National Rightist Party and later ran for the House of Commons.
A new party emerged in continuum of the rise of fascism, the National Populism Party of Aenderia, founded by Calvin White, who claims to be a direct descendant from Aenderia's first President: Calvin White. Calvin White and Goebbels initially formed the We Are Right (WAR) Coalition as a culturally right-winged coalition and also managed to gain two seats in the House of Commons. Calvin White and Henry Goebbels were both elected, with White receiving 100% of all the votes in Aenderia's electorate system and Goebbels 62.5%. Eventually, relations between White and Goebbels fell apart due to internal conflicts and White proposed a motion to expel Goebbels from the House of Commons, citing that Goebbels is a danger to the Republic due to affiliation with far-right groups that had previously attempted to overthrow another nation's government. The motion against Goebbels was passed and Goebbels was expelled from the House of Commons, and White had also stated that Goebbels was to be kicked out of WAR. However, the legitimacy of that motion remains unclear since Goebbels was the person that initially set up, even though there is evidence of the idea stemming from White. However, that argument has faded since and Goebbels has not been associated with WAR ever since.
Start of the Laptev Administration
As scheduled weeks before, the nation held its first election since February 2020 on 1 March 2021. Laptev and Lokin won 68.8 percent of the vote. Maxmillian von Meister and Gabriel Sebastian ceded from the race and congratulated Laptev. In the closing half hour of the election Dagsa also ceded, concluding the election. Shortly after, the 4th House of Commons was announced and sworn in, but two candidates, Ikaros Malakas and Cole Baird were found to be tied with 5 votes each. A quick runner-up poll was held and Cole Baird won. Vice President Nicholas Lokin was later replaced for inactivity by Nicholas Fisher.
May Election
This section is an excerpt from 2021 Aenderian presidential election.
President Laptev had not announced whether or not he would be running for another term, which allowed multiple parties to eye the position and seek after the Presidency. President Laptev was seen as unpopular towards the end of his term due to various issues with Aenderia, such as the Rise of Fascism, inactivity, and a growing economic recession.
Multiple candidates signed up to run for President:
Julia Hidalgo
Initially, Maximillian von Meister was on the Liberal party's ticket alongside Nicholas Lokin, but eventually the ticket was switched to Julia Hidalgo with Meister. The Liberal party's campaign focus is to highlight and fix the failures of Laptev's administration and the Aenderia Reform Bloc. Hidalgo left the campaigning to her running mate, Max von Meister. Meister attacked against the National Populist for their socially conservative stance, anti-trans policies, and alleged simulationist policies. The Liberal party also attacked the NRF for their far-right agenda and expulsion of all non-white peoples from Aenderia. However, the Liberal party's focus was the failures of the Laptev administration.
Calvin White
Calvin White announced his campaign on April 28, 2021. He later announced that he would be running with David Dwight Eisenhower for the Presidency under the National Populism party a week later. Calvin White has been continually campaigning around Aenderia. Calvin White had not openly criticized the Laptev administration but had been vocal about his plans for "Aenderian reconstruction" by proposing sets of legislation dubbed the "Aenderian New Deal." Some of that legislation includes: a custom cryto-based currency system, creation of sin taxes on tobacco and pornography, and legislation to subsidize and create private businesses in Aenderia, particularly in e-commerce. White was also vocal of various social policies, such as the banishment of critical race theory and gender identity teaching in public schools and an outright ban on gender replacement therapy hormones, citing side effects and bodily harm as well as inefficacy.[1]
On May 5, 2021, Calvin White drew criticism by the Liberal party for allegedly using the death of former President Nicholas Randouler as campaign material, in which White stated he wants to create a national holiday to honor Randouler's contributions to Aenderia. Calvin White responded by stating that it wasn't his original intent and that he would want that holiday created under any circumstance, whether or not he would be President or not. White later apologized for alleged pollicization of Randouler's death.
