The House of Representatives Congressional Committee on New Zealand Relations or the Arstotzkan Union House Committee on New Zealand is a House of Representatives congressional committee of inquiry into relations with New Zealand. The Committee is the first of its kind in the Arstotzkan Union and has been formed to help fully unite the Arstotzkan Union and New Zealand. It is majorly bipartisan with representation from the Arstotzkan Social Liberal Democratic Party and the National Right Alliance Party, with it being the first time the NRAP has seen use outside the Executive Committee.

Background

On 15 September 2021, the Arstotzkan Federal Government announced that the failure of New Zealand to act on its duties by its partners lead to an end of relations with New Zealand. However in late 2021 with increased Russian troop build-up near Ukraine, the Arstotzkan Union and the First President passed Executive Presidential Alert 0002 to restore relations with New Zealand.

In July - August 2022, the Arstotzkan Union began looking at increases in military partnerships with New Zealand especially after major warnings of a possible Sino - American conflict and in September 2022 the Vice President told the First President the Arstotzkan Federal Government should restrengthen relations with New Zealand and in October 2022, First President Brinkman announced the formation of a House Congressional Committee on New Zealand.
