Nedland is an autonomous republic of the Democratic Socialist Federation of Nedlandic Republics and a historical and micronational ethnic region. It is spread out across the Washington area, covering territory in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland. Its capital, Palazzo, is in the county of Arlington, and is also DSFR Nedland's national capital.
It also covers one dual territory, the Sacramento SCR
History
Nedland was founded by aspiring micronationalist Ned Gunderson as the Democratic Republic of Nedland on October 7, 2014.
the DR Nedland had only one citizen, and became inactive in December 2014.
On April 29, 2015, the Nedland project was revived and became a fully fledged nation.
On June 5, 2015, the republic of Šlovedkia was formally declared another semi-autonomous republic apart from Nedland, and various municipalities were taken from the NAR's jurisdiction due to this.
SCRs of Nedland
Nedland is divided up into seven subcultural repubics, or SCRs, non-autonomous divisions of autonomous republics which act essentially as districts or oblasts.
One SCR, Kustulvudupád, was under Nedland's jurisdiction, but was taken from them when Šlovedkia became semi-autonomous and claimed Kustulvudupád, then known as Falls Church, as their national territory.
