Neo-Carolusianism
Neo-Carolusianism is an ideology present in mainly Elarian politics. The ideology is a splinter off of Carolusianism, a pre-existing royalist ideology proclaiming support for the Emperor of Ela'r'oech. They mainly form of traditional, conservative, pro-monarchist, and Christian values. However, Neo-Carolusians specifically also harbor more extremist or radical views.
History
Carolusianism itself was formed in response to Runnymede's Anti-Elarian behaviors in 2020 by Brandon Jacobs. Carolusianism at the time was not yet a coined term and this was just considered Elarian pride. However, this would change come the Ela'r'oech Monarchy Power Dispute, where Carolusianism would still not be coined. However, it was during this time that the term "Carolinianism" had been coined by Christoph Billung, as well as being adopted by most Elarians which directly supported Charles' position as King. However, later in the dispute, this would change to Carolusianism to further integrate the term with Charles as a person, as support for his reign as the sole Elarian Monarch had shot up in foreign micronations.
Neo-Carolusianism, however, began to be formed during the Elarian Monarchy Dispute in response to Cycoldia's imperialistic behaviors. This continued when Pontunians, notably Andrew Perdomo, began making controversial statements regarding Ela'r'oech and it's people.
Following the first attempt at the formation of the United Kingdom of the Great Bayou, Neo-Carolusianism grew with Anthony Ramirez becoming more heavily involved.
Beliefs
Neo-Carolusians hold many more radical and authoritarian beliefs as opposed to Carolusians. For example, many Neo-Carolusians have called for the formation of the United Kingdom of the Great Bayou with or without the acknowledgement of the Kingdom of Pontunia's sovereignty.
Additionally, many Neo-Carolusians, notably those within the Neo-Knights of Ela'r'oech, believe in the Elarian race theory and believe in Elarian supremacy. They also believe that the Kingdom of Pontunia holds no right to exist following it's history with Ela'r'oech, the same beliefs are shared with that of the Grand Republic of Cycoldia; That is, that Neo-Carolusians do not believe Cycoldia has a right to exist.
Neo-Carolusians and Carolusians alike are divided on the topic of Zeprana and Terry McKeen III. Some Neo-Carolusians and Carolusians have attempted to use him to their benefit, while others have warned the rest to stay away from McKeen and Zeprana. Additionally, many Elarians are in favor of simply claiming the land and government of Zeprana, for example with Zyva and simply leaving the situation like that.
