Frenson (Sonian: FRE-SON), officially the Republic of Frenson, was a micronation In Western Pennsylvania, In the county of Beaver. It was founded on 6 October 2022 by Joshua Schoedel as a micronationalism project with his friend Mellies Stettler. Frenson was founded as a Confederation, with each county having a high level of autonomy, before becoming a Federation. Frenson has presidential elections every 2 years, and mayoral elections every 8 months, respectively. Frenson had closed borders, but had a free foreign policy, allowing Uni-Lateral recognition from any nation that requests it.
Etymology
The Name Frenson comes from an old geo-fictional country named the Frenson Republic United, (More commonly referred to as the F.R.U) It was an imaginary country off the coast of Russia. There is no origin where Frenson came from as a whole.
History
Frenson was established on 6 October 2022 after a flag was planted at the D.G.R.F, and with the integration of the original 4 counties, being The Highlands, Mulchian Republic, Residentia, and The Rockies, respectively. Frenson later fell apart after corruption and poor documentation became rampant in the nation. Frenson became defunct on 4 November 2023.
Pre-history
Frenson as a physical territory was a lunch table faction under the name of the Neutral Republic.
It was created after Joshua Schoedel, president of the Neutral Republic, had a personal distaste for the old faction, being named the Robloxian Faction. After ratifying their Constitution, they were a short-lived puppet under the 3rd faction, the Cheese Faction. After the Cheesian-Robloxian war began, the Neutral Republic declared complete independence and found another table to claim. After the end of the school year, the Neutral Republic Quickly dissolved and then later turned into Frenson.
Neutral Republic
The Neutral Republic more commonly referred to as the N.R. was a small faction of 5 people that declared independence from the parent Cheese Faction. The faction declared a lunch table 2 tables down from the parent faction. The reason the Neutral Republic declared independence was due to an ongoing conflict between the parent Cheese Faction, and a smaller 3-person Faction called the Robloxian Faction. The N.R. declared independence originally with 4 people, 2 Elites, and 2 Equal Citizens.
Cheesian-Robloxian Conflict
The Cheesian-Robloxian Conflict was the driving force for the N.R. to become independent, It was started by current Frensonian President Joshua Schoedel after a disagreement about who created the Faction. The conflict was mostly fought by insults, espionage, and spies. Schoedel pursued joining the Cheese Faction to lead the battle. He received backlash from the Cheese Faction leader because of the unnecessary cruelty of the insults. After becoming an outcast, Schoedel organized a separatist movement within the Cheese Faction, Causing 1 of the Cheese Faction members to join the Robloxian Faction. After ratifying their declaration of Independence, the Neutral Republic became an independent faction.
Recognition Struggle
Even though the N.R. was independent in all legal rights, the Cheese Faction still claimed all members of the N.R. and its territory, causing a minor dispute between the 2 factions. Negotiations were tried but few came out successful. Multiple members and closer friends of the Cheese Faction leader tried to ask for complete independence, but none of them came out as successful either. It was only until the N.R. Started to get hostile with the aforementioned Robloxian Faction, did it become apparent to the C.F. leader to allow the N.R. to give them independence. There were still disputes between the Cheese Faction and the N.R. for territories, however, the Cheese Faction illegally moved into N.R. territory without any permission, causing the N.R. leader to try and expel the C.F. on multiple occasions, yet none came out as successful. This later led to the N.R. Having to move to another table to regain complete sovereignty.

Frenson has been through multiple flags, with each flag having its own meaning and symbolism, Frenson has a lot of flag history to look through.
Pre-Frensonian History
The area in which Frenson is located dates back 18 years before Frenson. The territory where Frenson is located is on the old property of the president's great-grandparents. With permanent residence being dated back to at least the 1800s. The current generation of the Schoedel family permanently resided there in 2009 after the completion of the Presidential mansion. Since then, the plot of land has developed until the Frensonian annexation in 2023, since then, nothing has been done within Frenson.
Frenson Republic United
The Frenson Republic United was a fictional country created by Joshua Schoedel as a 6th-grade project. It was located off the coast of Russia, located south of Mexico. It had an estimated population of 11,532, a GDP of 300.9B, and a poverty rate of 1.4%. It had a land area of 404.68 km2 (156.24 mi2), with 15.5% being buyable. Later, Frenson became a volcanic island, with its land area spreading to a massive 28489.86km2 (11,000mi2), it later went into a civil war when a separatist movement named the S.S.F (Socialist States of Frenson.) wanted to declare independence from the southern islands of the Frensonian Volcanic Islands. The campaign was successful, and the S.S.F declared independence, becoming an instant Frensonian enemy. Frenson later merged with the S.S.F, becoming the Union of the F.R.U and S.S.F. During this time, the Union was the strongest industrial and military superpower in the world, issuing the Hitman's Choice .45 ACP handgun, and the F.R.U and S.S.F Harrison Bolt Action. The Union later fell after a prisoner separatist movement called Soviet Republic of Krashov. The Movement was successful after taking Outpost 1, (Which later became the D.G.R.F) and the capital, and flying their flag over the F.R.U capital. the S.R.K became notorious for achieving absolute communism, by taking everyone's money and dividing it equally throughout the nation. There would be multiple wars with the Union, but all were defended.
Collapse of Frenson
The Collapse of Frenson is marked at the start of May 2023, as people began leaving Frenson, and multiple counties were un-attended. The president than declared a state of emergency from 21 May to 25 June. During this time, a document called the "Great Frensonian Reset" Was published. This document was a statement of how the government will change, and how the new government will be more effecient. Even with this new document, Frenson could not recover from the devasation of poor documentation. The poor documentation meant there were multiple unaccounted citizens, which caused stress on the governments. Frenson was gaining a slight bit of hope during the August and September months. But then due to multiple oppressive changes in the Frensonian Discord Server, Famous Frensonian "Mellies Stettler" decided to take action. His argument along with his followers was "This is a community server, let us have rights" This caused more stress on the government, which then prompted the president to try to set a new reform with less restrictions, yet the belligerents persisted. Multiple peace talks were attempted, yet none came out successful. Due to Schoedels stubborness. The final terms were seen as unfair and war-mongering. Afterwards, a new Frenson was proposed, which began to be thought of, but the Presidents grandfather unfortunately passed away, which caused a complete halt in the creation. On 10 November, a new state called the Republic of Western Pennsylvania was proposed. Which is now the current catalyst for the former Frenson.
Politics
Frenson is a Federal Representative Labourist Republic with it having multiple Subdivisions named Counties. Frenson currently has 14 counties, with 2 un-integrated territories. Frenson is a Democratic Republic as well, with its main source of legislation being the Presidential and Mayoral Congress.
Legislature
Federal Congress
The Federal Congress is the Federal government's legislature, It has the same usage as the U.S Congress, with it being used to vote on bills signed by the president and to veto and remove federal-level laws already established.
Council of the Counties
The Council of the Counties is the unofficial legislature of the counties, led by the mayors of Frenson. It has the same structure and usage as the Federal Congress but it looks to reverse bills made by the County Representative.
Foreign relations
Uni-lateral recognition
Frenson had a free foreign policy allowing Uni-lateral Recognition, the only requirement is that the nation be independent with an official Declaration of Independence. This comes from Frenson being asked by multiple countries for bi-lateral recognition, while the president not wanting to establish diplomacy. The act is unofficial as there are no documents or amendments stating such. But the president strongly enforces it.
Bi-lateral recognition
Frenson had a more strict Bi-lateral policy, with more guidelines, these included
- Nation must have an established declaration of independence.
- Must have legitimate land which is either owned or occupied.
- Territory must be tended to.
- Nation must have established relations with other micronations.
- Nation must have a ratified constitution.
Like the Uni-lateral Guidelines, these are unofficial with no mention in any official government documents but are still enforced by the president and his colleagues. The reasoning for these guidelines stems similarly to the Uni-Lateral Reason, as multiple illegitimate, Internet-focused, and short-lived nations tried to establish diplomacy with Frenson, causing interruptions with the president's daily life.

Frenson had Very Few allies, and none at the end of its lifetime. as there were few micronations within the region, and due to the fact most micronations cannot do anything to better Frenson or themselves for the alliance. Frenson has a strict alliance policy, so as to not seem to be giving away free alliances. The Government will only go through the diplomatic process of an alliance only if the nation that is willing to ally has something to give, such as support, (militarily, economically, etc.) Mutual-Protection, and Visa-Free borders.
Military
Each County had its own military, being commonly called the [Counties Name] Defense Force, it relates to the American State National Guards. Each county has its own way of dealing with military, as such counties may have more advanced technology than another county. Frensonian Armed Forces uses middle-low quality micro-national standard material, such as Nerf Guns and Airsoft Guns
Geography and Climate
Climate
Frenson is completely landlocked as an enclave by Pennsylvania. Frenson has a Humid Continental Climate, with Summer temperature averaging 70-80F (26.6C) and a Winter Temperature of 30-40F (4.4C).
Geography
Frenson has multiple geographic features, with the Main Frensonian district being a hilly, wooded region with its highest point being 370M (1213.9 ft). The Frensonian-Rockian territory is a much more wooded region, accounting for 65% of its land area. It also has a creek that separates the Rockies from the disputed territory of Klinesville. The Territory has a highest point of 312M (1023.6 ft) The Final territory of Frenson, being the Frensonian-Somerset Territory, is in the middle of the Pennsylvania Appalachians, It is also the most wooded place in Frenson, with it being 95% of the regions land area. It has a highest point of 665 m (2181.7 ft)

These Counties Make up the Frensonian Union, which is a federation. Each county follows a Federal/Unitary Democratic Republic. Other than that, each county has complete freedom to do whatever they want, as long as it's passed by the Federal Government.

Unintegrated territories are territories that have not been admitted into the Frensonian Union, it works like the Nato Admittance Policy, in broad terms, every county must accept the county to be integrated, and the county must be stable.
Economy
Frenson is a labourist state, with the Frensonian Workers Association (FWA) being the government job party, Frenson's only natural resource is wood, with that accounting for 100% of the exports. Frenson has a current treasury of §151 Soni, a Gdp of §4, and a gdp per capita of §15.
Culture
Frensonian culture promotes mostly Conservatism, Labourism, and patriotism. Frenson hosts a celebration in lue of new years called Frensonian Workers day during this day, a military parade will take place, all workers will have a day off, and the president will make a speech.
