Empire of Sayville
Alex, commonly known as his pseudonym 'Space', became exposed to micronationalism when he joined the Commonwealth of Sayvillian Regions and the Empire of Sayville through Nationstates. He would fully become involved in itself micronationalism with the founding of the Osme Free State.
Space began his micronational career after being invited to the Kingdom of Northwood-Oregon by Carson Snyder, where he founded the Osme Free State and became its Oriel. He later went on to fully devote himself to the Weisserian Commonwealth.
Kingdom of Northwood-Oregon
In the Kingdom, Space founded the Osme Free State on 1 November 2020. He announced his ambition to run a completely democratic member state with him as a guiding hand for its citizens. He was also the first non-American national to found a member state of the Kingdom. He would later abdicate his position on 24 December 2020 to devote his time elsewhere.
Space joined the Weisserian Commonwealth on 15 November 2020, being the second person to join the Discord it inhabits after the commonwealth's founder, Adryvia. There, he would be elected by default to the Grand Council on 6 December 2020. He would later be nominated for the position of Internal Minister on 22 December 2020 under the Dylan presidency with the nomination being approved a day later. On 7 January 2021, the owner of the Discord led a coup against the current government presumably due to inactivity. Space was the only member of the former government to retain a position, becoming a Transition Councilmember.
Honors and awards
- 16 February 2021 – 26 June 2021: Order of the Weisserian Commonwealth (Knight)
Ignorance is bloss.— 'Space', 19 July 2020
I love democracy but I also know sometimes a benevolant dictatorship is better then a messed up democracy.— 'Space', 6 January 2020
I always hear people say "unity through diversity" however it isnt that simple. Diversity provides more perspectives a neccesity for democracy, its like a rope split into threads disunited and weak. A common dream and good government is needed to restring them into a new rope far better then what preceded it.— 'Space', 25 February 2021
