Forestia holds elections for a president, a vice president, state governors, and members of the National Assembly. The president is elected to a six month term, in a two round system in which the candidate with the most votes wins. Forestia is a multi party system, with the Forestian Workers' Party and the Arkazjan Minority holding the majority of seats in the Assembly.
Electoral system
In the presidential election, a candidate must have a minimum of 51% of the total votes to be elected. If there is not a candidate with the minimum vote percentage, a second round is held to decide the president. Voting in Forestia is optional, meaning it is not compulsory to vote in elections.
