The Opposition to the integration of Cristus was a period of time where various people and organizations criticized and opposed the incorporation of Cristus into Gapla. Many of the sources that were promulgated by Celenic and his allies to support their opposition were eventually disproved by the Gaplan government.
The Monarchy of Laskaridia announced that they had no position on the conflict(s).
Events
- George Celenic was one of the hardest critics of the incorporation, he and his newsletter Vanguard published an article detailing the events and the incorporation.[1] Celenic has previously published numerous false articles[2][3] on Gapla, and due to this Wyatt Baek and the Gaplan government condemn them. The newsletter was refuted by Gaplan authorities after a dossier was published criticizing the article.[4]
- The Christian Democratic Party made an official comment about the situation and it was supported by Celenic, Andrew Perdomo (party leader), Bluebonn, and Silas Wurnbash, co-leader of the Nationalist Left Party.
