The Traditionals Party, shortened to the Trad. Party or the Trads, is a centre-right conservative political party and one of the big four parties permitted by the prince to stand for election in the Princian Commonwealth. The Traditionals Party was the most recent addition to the big four (formerly the big three) in preparation for the Parvusmount SDP's integration into the Princian Commonwealth, meaning it must abide by Princia's partisan regulations of permittance rather than to have its own parties as was previously the case. The Traditionals Party was created in response to the much further-right and traditionalist political stance of Parvusmount as a whole compared to that of the rest of Princia, which before the creation of the Traditionals Party had a notable void of right-wing political parties permitted to stand for government.
The Traditionals Party supports policies of liberalisation and the independent will of the people, much like the United Democratic & Liberal Party, but asserts that the best way to achieve this is with a free market economy while the UDP opts for an economic policy of avoiding attempting to correct, fix, or improve that which is already sufficient. The Trad. Party also supports a policy of complete federalisation and the reinstitution of each province's government with law-making capabilities unimpeded by the central government.
