Carolinian Krai was a large krai of the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun.

Etymology

The name "Carolinian" referred to the Carolinian forest found in the krai.

History

On 26 October 2010, HIM Tsar Kuri I captured Carolinian Krai and declared the entirety of it a national park. Carolinian Krai was returned to Canadian sovereignty due to not meeting the new standards for Gishabruni land claims set by the House of Heads, in May 2011.

Geography and climate

The climate of what was Carolinian Krai is continental (but modified by the nearby river with the Lake Effect), meaning it has an average of 9.5 degrees Celsius, with 133.1 cm of snowfall each winter and 834 mm of precipitation year-round. The area of Carolinian Krai is surrounded by grassy plains on three sides, and a river on one side. Carolinian Krai consisted of a forested area with a cliff overlooking a river. Carolinian Krai contained Carolinian National Park, and was surrounded by Canada on all sides.
