The Cession of Hatiubbust was an event on 16 December 2023 where the Thulian provinces of Hackefälla, Tortoise Island, Upper Backa and the territories of The Bugatti and Seahorse Territory were ceded to Sweden because of their irrelevance as Thulian land claims. A common name of these dependencies is Hatiubbust (pronounced: /ˈheɪʃəbəst/), a combination of the dependencies' abbreviations (HA, TI, UB, BU, ST). The decision was taken by the State Council after Svante Axelsson suggested it. During the cession, Thulia lost 0.078978 km2 of its total 0.089075 km2, leaving 0.010097 km2 left.
