The National Blueshirt Militia (abbr. NBM) is the national police force of the Roscami Federation, which was founded by Marco Hasse as a replacement to the ineffective Police Service Roscamistan on the 8th of March 2023.

The National Blueshirt Militia is governed as a subordinate agency to the Ministry of Justice, with the Commissioner-General being appointed by the President after recommendation from the minister of Justice. Marco Hasse is the incumbent Commissioner-General.

The National Blueshirt Militia has been described as the private army of Marco Hasse by regime opponents abroad.

History

At some point in 2021, the Police Service Roscamistan was formed. After that, not much is known about conventional law enforcement in Roscamistan. In March 2023, Marco Hasse protested that the police in Roscamistan were useless and that crime couldn’t be stopped if it happened. Thomas Jacobs approved provisionally of Hasse’s new idea for a police force, the National Blueshirt Militia.

Named after the Blueshirts, the new police force was created with the intent to swiftly and efficiently stomp out crime and criminals in Roscamistan. An act of the National Assembly [1] was passed on the 11th of March 2023 formally creating the NBM. Hasse was appointed the Commissioner-General of the NBM.

Soon after the formation of the NBM, the Supreme Court issued arrest warrants initially for May Collins, former Lieutenant Governor of Galway City for violations of Roscami law. Soon, her brother Ludwig Collins had a warrant for his arrest for harbouring a wanted fugitive.

Role and structure

The NBM is primarily tasked with carrying out law enforcement. The NBM’s secondary objective is to arrest opponents of the regime who attempt to overthrow it. The Board of Commissioners is the governing body, with the Commissioner-General as the chairman. Both are appointed by the Minister of Justice. The NBM has active and reserve divisions. Plans were made for an elite division designed to patrol the borders and hilly areas of Roscamistan.

Headquarters and stations

The NBM is headquartered in the province of Galway City in what used to be the Ballinfoylish state of North Galway. Stations for the NBM include the former RVF military base in Greater Roscam and in the province of Oranmore.

Operations

The NBM has previously had operations pertaining to the arrest of criminals via warrants, most notably when warrants were issued the arrest for Ludwig and May Collins. The NBM also has been involved in the Conquest of Ballinfoyleburg and the subsequent declaration of the Fatherland Front as a terrorist organisation.

The NBM has also been responsible for arresting those responsible for opposing the Patriotic Revolution.
