The First Varuna Sriraya ministry is the second union council of ministers of the state which was formed on 1 January 2010 and was headed by the Prime Minister Varuna Sriraya. The ministry was formed following the resignation of then Prime Minister Arnisha Phatowali on the eve of New Year 2010, and was succeeded by her Deputy Prime Minister Varuna Sriraya, who served on an acting basis until his election on 10 January 2010.
