Foreign relations of Queensland
The diplomatic foreign relations of Queensland are conducted and maintained under the joint prerogative of the Supreme Head of Queensland and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Commonwealth of Independence. All the diplomatic relations treaties must be signed by the monarch of Queensland as the chief ambassador of the nation and are unanimously approved of by the Cabinet Committee of Security comprising of the Prime Minister and the foreign advisor, prior to the formal establishment of relations. Queensland distinguishes two types of diplomatic relations, formal, which are obtained via treaty, and informal, specified by documents of common micronational organizations. All formal relations must be established with the signing of a treaty of mutual recognition, friendship and cooperation or any other form of diplomatic relations treaty provided by either by the government of Queensland or the nation with whom, the relations are being sought.
