The Federal Republic of Forestia is a member of the Conference of Santiago since 18 June 2023,[a] having been discussing a possible membership for months beforehand. The Forestian delegation is responsible for managing the Secretary of the Environment since 8 July 2023.

History

Before entering the alliance, Forestia had maintained friendly relations with two of its member states, those being the Karno-Ruthenian Empire and the Principality of Sancratosia. Forestia initially approached Karnia-Ruthenia about becoming a member on 23 April 2023, with talks continuing for a few months. On 30 May 2023, Karnia-Ruthenia held a vote to accept Forestia as a member state, which ended with approval. Forestia was accepted as a member on 14 June 2023, but is considered a member since 18 June.
