Cristoria–Hoku relations

Relations between Cristoria and Hoku are foreign relations between the Kingdom of Cristoria the Democratic Republic of Hoku.

History

The Socialist Republic of Hoku and the Kingdom of Cristoria have a long history of engaging of diplomacy, with the earliest known being between the Kingdom of Cristoria and the Monunnist State.

During the early emergence of the Kingdom of Cristoria on social media, Hoku was amongst the first to show positive relations with them, starting a bond that would never be broken.^[a]

During the Cristoro-Huntian Cold War, the newly emerged Socialist Republic of Hoku supported the Kingdom of Cristoria, whilst it went up against the Kingdom of Huntia and the Gorthian Federation. This, showing Hoku's loyalty to Cristoria,^[b] was a sign of loyalty and he approached Hoku with a treaty.

A little under a month later in June 2022, the War on Gorthalism began and, still in support of Cristoria, the Socialist Republic of Hoku supported the Kingdom of Cristoria during the conflict. This, showing the loyalty once more, made Cristoria deem Hoku as the closest ally to the Cristorian Kingdom at the time.

Following the collapse of the Kingdom of Cristoria in December 2022 and the emergence of the Republic of Cristoria, the Socialist Republic of Hoku was the first micronation to become allies with the Republic of Cristoria, making Hoku being deemed the closest ally to the now Republic of Cristoria by the first President of the Republic of Cristoria, Christopher P. and his Congress.
