The Federalist Party of Salanda is a left wing political party in the Kingdom of Salanda headed by McKay C on 29 June 2022. It currently has one seat in the Tepoelan that was won in a set of by-elections triggered by the expansion of the Tepoelan from five to eventually eleven seats.

Originally the Dissociatist-Federalist party, Dissociatism was removed from the party platform due to public pushback. It has hence been renamed the Federalist Party.

Ideology

The Ideology of the Federalist party is largely left-wing, including leftist stances on abortion, LGBTQ+ issues, economics, and politics. Believing in minority/states rights, it also advocates for a strong central government.

History of the Party

Originating in the United States of the Rocky Mountains, dissociatism spread to multiple micronations through the Rocky Mountain Confederation (until the Rocky Mountains Confederation’s collapse in 2021). It is a left-wing party, with left-wing policies on for example; abortion, (legal for rape, incest, death of baby, death/injury of mother), legalized marijuana, healthcare.

The party then moved to Salanda. Originally the Dissociatist-Federalist party, Dissociatism was removed from the party platform due to public pushback. It has hence been renamed the Federalist Party.
