The First Minister of New Bavaria is the Head of Government of New Bavaria who is chosen by the people of the Kingdom of New Bavaria for 4 months. The First Minister upon election, selects their ministers and Second Minister, and advises the monarch in governmental matters, and is the Chair of the Councilors of State. The First Minister may also be a minister of one of the ministries.

Typically, the First Minister is the person who is the leader of a party who has the majority of the General Assembly after an election.
