The Royal House of Rettkowski-Carlsen was founded in Clinton, Iowa in May 1944 thanks to the marriage of His Late Majesty (then Highness Crown Prince), King August II and then Princess Ardelle. The House is a branch from the House of Carlsen and the Royal House of Rettkowski. The Head of the House is called the Archduke/Archduchess of Rettkowski-Carlsen, the current head and Archduke is Henry Rettkowski. The House has deep roots tracing back to Germany and Denmark.
