The Royal Vishwamitran Air Force is the aerial warfare branch of the Vishwamitran Armed Forces, which was formed in 2021. The sole purpose behind the formation of the air force was to secure the nation from air strikes and other disastrous attacks. It is one of the newly-established branches of the armed forces.
History
The idea behind the formation of the air force dates back to 2018 when following the constitutional coup of May 2018, the honorary armed forces and four-star and three-star ranks of the tri-services were created. Then Deputy Supreme Leader, Anoushkaa Patranabish was appointed as the Air chief marshal and hence, the chief of the air force.
With the full-fledged armed forces being created, the idea regarding the creation of the air force was pioneered. Eventually, by a royal decree, the Rashtradhyaksh Dhrubajyoti Roy directed the creation of the "Royal Vishwamitran Air Force" on 21 February 2021.
