The State of Lasetia held its first general election on 11 March 2023 until 15 March 2023. All government offices (from head of government to cabinet ministers and state governors) were elected. The only political party participated was the Central Reformer Party of Lasetia with the only candidate Maximilian IB., who was elected as the President of Lasetia and other Govermental offices.
The elected Deputy Prime Minister was Alexander IB. of the CRPL, who was nominated by the Party Leader of the Central Reformer Party of Lasetia, Maximilian IB.
The election system in Lasetia is First-past-the-post voting that if the party/coalition makes a majority of people vote in one state, Thus, they would get all the seats in that state, and in Lasetia, each state would get one seat. There are also rules written in the constitution.
(1) General Elections are held at least twice a year
(2) The President is elected by the people
(3) The Chancellor of the National Council is elected by a senate elected by the people
Due to the late incorporation of Brandonien, there was an extra voting for Brandonien. 100% of all people voted in favour of the CRPL so the voter turnout did not changed.
