The Lasetian Ministry of Immigration and Colonization (MfIK) or in German Immigrationsministerium is responsible for the Immigration and the increase of the Population in Lasetia. It is the child agency of the Ministry of Foreign Relations and is responsible for designing the Lasetian Passport and accepting new citizens.

Role and tasks

The main task of the Ministry of Immigration and Colonization is to advertise people to immigrate to the State of Lasetia and creating naturalization test or Einbürgerungstest to proof if the Applicant for Citizenship is allowed to gain the Status as a citizen. The Ministry is obligated to create passports for the population and is the only Ministry which has full all insights into the information of the citizens exept for the Ministry of Justice and the Government. From a Decret of the President, the Ministry is obligated to annex and incorporate new Territories, if there are a Terra Nullis or a No-mans land as the Territory of Svandersee is. There are special rules for Bir Tawil and Mary-Bird Land not to claim the land out of because it is unrealistic that the area is kept under control.

Eligibility

Every Citizen of Lasetia who is older than 13 is allowed to become the Minister of Immigration and Colonization, if the President permit the choice of the National Council of Lasetia. This means that a Minister is suggested by the National Council after Elections and must be permitted by the President to become a Minister. The President has more rights, than the Ministry of Immigration and can manage the Immigration policies, if he wants. But this is preserved for the Emergency Case, which is usually called out by the President and can disempower the National Council and the Minister and Ministries. But In normal the Ministry of Immigration is relative free and can make choices as accepting new citizens and annex new territories, but the President has to officially incorporate the new Territory.

2. Accepted 7 Official Citizens and 3 Diplomats as Citizens of Lasetia
