The President of the Lasetian State (German: Der Präsident von Lasetien) is the head of state and government of the State of Lasetia. The President is the highest political position in the nation by influence and recognition. The president heads the executive branch of the federal government.

Legislature

The tenure holds usually 6 Months, this means every 6 Month there will be a voting for the new President, which makes the Lasetian State a presidental republic.

Legislative

The President of Lasetia is authorized to pass new laws and is able to dissolve or disempower the National Council of Lasetia for an undefined amount of time. The Task of the first President is to create a constitution for the Lasetian State. The Lasetian President is the Head of the State and he must permit new Ministers for the Ministries or he can choose a person. The Word of the President is above the Ministries and the National Council, this means, if the National Council decides to pass a new law and more than 50% of the Members vote in fauvor the President is able to stop the Law. If there is a new President, besides Maximilian IB. there can be a vote of no confidence to kick the President out of his government office. But for that to happen, above 75% of the Parliament and 50% of the Ministries have to vote against the President.

Executive

The Head of the Lasetian National Army is the President. His orders are more Important than the Order from the Lasetian Ministry of Defense, War and Propaganda. He can order the Army to defend Lasetia in a war or he can dissolve the Army. If there is something that threatens Lasetia, the President has to act immediately and can either give full control to the Minister of Defense or he can take the Power. The President is responsible for having a competent Minister in the Army.
