Pax Cristoriana (Latin for "Cristorian Peace") is the national motto of the Kingdom of Cristoria. The term is modeled after Pax Americana, which is modeled after Pax Romana.[1]

History

The term was first used during the final months of the Kingdom of Cristoria. The former monarch Christopher I was making a speech about the removal of religious symbols from all signs of government with his parliamentary bill, as stated below:

The bill to remove religion from signs of government has been officially processed. The House of Lord's had twelve voting against it and eight voting towards it. The House of Commons had all twenty vote towards it. The ratio is 28:12. Therefore, all signs of religion will be removed from the government. However, any flags and symbols that already exist and bear signs of religion will stay present. Any signs of religion in the future will unfortunately be prohibited. Pax Cristoria.

Following the formation of the Republic of Cristoria, Christopher P. ordered that "Pax Cristoria" was to be the national motto.

The term was originally founded as "Pax Cristoria" but was changed to "Pax Cristoriana" in February 2023.

In October 2023, following the reestablishment of the Kingdom of Cristoria, Christopher I still declared the motto to be used a national motto.

Meaning

According to King, Christopher I, the term referred to the period of peace following the Cristorian victory of the Cristoro-Huntian Cold War.[a]

The term was also used as a patriotic Cristorian battle cry to directly push their independence from the United States of America to pursue sovereignty.
