The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cristoria (MFAROC) is the government agency responsible for managing the external relations and diplomacy of the micronation. It is responsible for promoting the interests and values of the Cristorian people throughout the global community, maintaining a peaceful and respectful relationship with other nations, and working to defend the principles of justice, equality, and solidarity on the intermicronational stage. It works closely with other government ministries and foreign affairs departments to coordinate and ensure a cohesive approach to foreign relations.

History

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cristoria was established in 2023 as part of the establishment of a new government structure based on equality, justice, and liberty. It has the task of managing the external relations and diplomacy of the country, working to promote the interests and values of the Cristorian people on the international stage and maintaining peaceful and respectful relations with other nations. Over the course of 2023, its role and responsibilities have evolved as the country's foreign policy goals and priorities.

Structure

The structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cristoria is similar to other ministries within the Cristorian government.

Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Minister of Foreign Affairs is the head of the Ministry and oversees its overall operations. They are responsible for setting and carrying out the foreign policy of the country and representing Cristoria on the intermicronational stage. The Minister of Foreign Affairs upholds the most responsibility within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Deputy Ministers

The Deputy Ministers assist the Minister in their duties and fill in for them when necessary, such as when the minister is not present.

Directors-General

The Directors-General are the heads of the different departments within the Ministry, such as Political Affairs and Economic Affairs.

Directors of Foreign Missions

The Directors of Foreign Missions manage the overseas Cristorian embassies and consulates. They are responsible for maintaining relations with the local governments and promoting Cristoria's interests abroad.

Directors of Multilateral Affairs

The Directors of Multilateral Affairs are responsible for coordinating with intermicronational (and macronational) organizations and groups such as the United Nations, Syndicate Nations of Prosperity, International Labor Organization, International Atomic Energy Agency, World Bank, and other multilateral bodies. They are responsible for representing the Cristoria's interests and participating in negotiations and decisions made by these organizations.

Cristorian Workers' Defense Code

The Cristorian Workers' Defense Code (C-WDC) is a color-coded warning system issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cristoria. The system was integrated due to the rising tensions between the Federal Dynasty of Gorthia and a sub-community of micronations.
