The Minister of Statistics (Hindi: सांख्यिकी मंत्री‎) is a former ministerial position in the Government of Vishwamitra responsible for the Ministry of Statistics.

The position was first created on 25 December 2017 by Prime Minister Varuna Sriraya upon the creation of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. Saikat Seal was the first holder of the office of the minister. The position was briefly abolished on 3 June 2019 and merged with the Ministry of Planning to form the Ministry of Planning and Programme Implementation. The position was re-created on 16 November 2019 as the Minister of Economics and Statistics, and was renamed as Minister of Economical and Statistical Development on 24 November 2019. The position was abolished again on 3 March 2020 after the Ministry of Economical and Statistical Development was merged with the Ministry of Finance.

The position was re-created on 3 January 2022 and Ested Vlasyn served as the first holder upon the re-establishment of the position. The position was abolished again on 17 March 2022.
