The Attorney General of Austenasia is the member of Cabinet who serves as the chief governmental lawyer and leader of the Ministry of Justice of the Empire of Austenasia. The Attorney General is therefore responsible for providing the members and bodies of the Government with legal advice, serving as or appointing the prosecutor for trials of the Imperial Court, and overseeing the administration of the Austenasian Police. They have the authority to appoint magistrates to resolve civil disputes and to appoint the Chief Inspector of the Austenasian Police with the consent of the Prime Minister. The incumbent, Sir Anthony Clark, is the fourth Attorney General and has been in office since December 2020.
